held for a while.

I begin by looking at her from the outside.

She acts.

She becomes part of a larger whole—
landscape, color, gesture.

She encounters another…
enters relationship

She looks back at me.

She has presence,
identity, a life of her own

She acts.

She becomes more.

I look closely.

I let her go.
I let her be.
